Patchwork brings Earth Day Stories to family audiences everywhere as it was recorded before a live audience on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at The Rotunda, 4014 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA.
According to Denise McCormack, president of Patchwork and MC of the program,
Earth Day was the perfect occasion to reemerge, to reconnect; it was like a call home after a long absence, and we felt the comfort of open arms welcoming us and our stories back to the theater, even as audiences are hesitantly returning to their 'normal' lives.
We looked at this time as a celebration--a new beginning and appreciation for the world we live in--and we carefully selected the stories to engage a multi-generational community of children, parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends.
Joining McCormack in the lineup are, in alphabetical order, Michele Belluomini, Ingrid Bohn, and Judy England-McCarthy.
Earth Day Stories will be available on PhillyCam, the People Powered Media, every Monday in August @ noon.
Monday, August 1 @12 PM EST
Monday, August 8 @12 PM EST
Monday, August 15 @12 PM EST
Monday, August 22 @12 PM EST

If this program were a movie or television show, I’d say it’s a very entertaining G, like The Lawrence Welk Show but with stories. This program is meant to be enjoyable for as many people as possible, of all age ranges (especially children and adults!).
