Notes on Story and Storytelling in CSF 2021 --
Each 10 minute-or-less story is followed by up to 10 minutes of positive discussion about the story and the storytelling, as well as possibly some role-play with story characters.
For information on healing stories: https://storytellinginstitute.org/Storytelling_and_Healing.html .
Examples of fairytales --or stories that are fairytale-ish and connect to the theme-- are available here:
https://storytellinginstitute.org/44.htm .
CSF 2021 Storytellers are encouraged to not memorize all of the words, and to not read the words aloud -- but rather to improvise the words as they visualize the episodes of the story and interact with listeners.
***
Almost all of the listeners would be adults, so one might consider telling, at least at times,
in a "candid" storytelling style --
https://storytellinginstitute.org/candid.html .
***
This would be a free Festival in the senses that Presenters are not being paid (although
one could send contributions to them), and admission to all CSF 2021 Zoom sessions is free.
People could register for all CSF 2021 sessions by sending a request to
info@storytellinginstitute.org
